Ofsted and Faith Inspections
We teach children about their religion and others, encourage them to ask questions and explore the ideas and teachings. Children take part in Sikh Studies lessons throughout their time at Khalsa, learning about the major figures, stories and morals from our past which are kept alive by Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
We offer children the unique opportunity to take part in celebrations throughout the year. Children are able to perform seva such as reading Hukumnama or Ardas as part of celebrations which include the whole school community.
What is Ofsted?
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. They also inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people.
Our most recent inspection was in October 2023. Please click here for the report.
What is a Section 48 Faith Inspection?
If a school has a designated religious character, it has an additional inspection of the faith element of its provision. Our last Section 48 Faith Inspection was in June 2024 and we were again judged to be "outstanding."
