Mrs Manjeet Kaur Singhota, Foundation Governor

more information

I have extensive teaching experience that extends over thirty years in the capacity of a Senior Lecturer formerly in the NHS and later in West London University and various other Higher Education Institutions. This spans foundation degree/ undergraduate to postgraduate level. Other position / roles held during this time include Director of Studies (Dos) with key emphasis on literacy, numeracy and professional studies. My responsibilities also included curriculum development, assessments both formative and summative as internal and external examiner. I played a key role in module/programme leadership and taking on the mentoring role for the developmental Lecturers in university.I passionately believe good and imaginative teaching with right values in the formative years is crucial for enriching the learning experience for every child to achieve their full potential. Engendering curiosity to learn in a supportive environment will produce lifelong learning in pupils and inspire them to aim high and achieve their goals. Working in partnership with local community, DfE, LA, parents and involvement  in (PTA & FOS etc) and other school events enhance learning & life  experience  for  children, encourage  them to compete and  emulate the very best.  The support from the SGSS for KPS is commendable and Khalsa primary school has the core ingredients to become an outstanding school through working in partnership.
